By downloading or using the EchoScribe app, these terms will automatically apply to you – please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Usage License

MCE Studio grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Application strictly in accordance with these Terms.

2. Subscriptions & Payments

• Free Tier: We offer a limited free tier (e.g., 5 recordings per month) per account. Usage counters reset every 30 days.
• Pro Subscription: Unlimited access is available via Weekly or Yearly auto-renewing subscriptions.
• Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Prices are dynamic and determined by the App Store based on your region.
• Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Billing Grace Period: If a payment fails, Apple may attempt to charge your payment method again. During this "Grace Period," you may retain access to Pro features depending on Apple's policies and successful synchronization with our servers.
• Restore Purchases: You can restore your active subscriptions using the "Restore Purchases" feature within the app if you change devices or reinstall the app.
• Management: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. We cannot cancel subscriptions on your behalf.

3. User Content & Conduct

You retain ownership of the audio and transcripts you create. You agree not to use the app to record or transcribe content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or violates the privacy rights of others. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or abuse of the service.

4. Service Limitations & Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the transcription will be 100% accurate or error-free. Transcription quality depends on factors such as audio quality, background noise, and speaker clarity. Features and availability may change over time.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MCE Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, service interruption, or system failure.

6. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of changes by posting the new Terms of Use on this page, with an updated “Last Updated” date.
